OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Construction is underway near Ocala’s Paddock Mall, bringing residents a new way to shop and dine.

Developers at BSD Capital say they purchased the mall’s former Sears building for more than $3 million, making room for The Paddock Market, at 3100 College Road.

Paddock Market Owner Sharon Sharaby, working alongside Guy Levintin, says there’s space for 89 small vendors, nine restaurants, and nine food trucks on their 12-acre lot. Free valet parking will be offered.
