Kosher hotel proposed near Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

BSD Capital is developing a Kosher hotel across the street from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

Sharon Sharaby, CEO of BSD Capital, said the hotel will have a Kosher restaurant with food prepared for Jewish observance, a synagogue space, and elevators that operate automatically during the Sabbath.

“I can capture the Jewish audience, as well as people who are looking for great service at a great price,” Sharaby quoted.

On Feb. 19, the City of Hollywood Technical Advisory Committee will consider the proposal for a 100-room hotel by the Shoppes of Hard Rock LLC, managed by Sharaby. His company has a 99-year lease with landlord Kaliff Corp. on the 2-acre site at 5530 S. State Road 7. It currently has a McDonald’s restaurant, which would remain after the hotel is built.

The presentation labels it the “Rock Hotel”, but Sharaby said it’ll be called the Dolce by Wyndham Hollywood.

The six-story hotel was designed by architect Joseph B. Kaller and will have a total area of 87,124 square feet and 104 parking spaces. There will be a restaurant and pool on the rooftop. The first two floors will be parking, with the rooms starting on the third floor.

The hotel’s rooftop restaurant, G7, will serve inclusive, Japanese-fusion style Kosher cuisine supervised by ORB, curated by a MICHELIN Starred chef, with options for a variety of dietary restrictions including vegan and vegetarian options.
